Pilaf with squid in a slow cooker

In order not to bother with cleaning squid, you can buy already peeled or even already cut into rings. The cooking time in the kitchen will be reduced significantly. Pilaf with squid does not take long to cook, and if the seafood is already prepared, then even faster. We recommend using olive oil for frying onions: it gives a characteristic delicate aroma that will only decorate the dish.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Let's prepare rice right away. Place the groats in a colander and rinse well with water until the grains become translucent. We leave the rice in a colander so that the water drains off, and proceed to frying. Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into thin half rings. We heat the multicooker in the "Fry" mode. Pour a small amount of olive oil into a bowl, heat it up. We spread the chopped onions and fry them with occasional stirring until a slight blush appears.
step 2 out of 7
If squids require cleaning, then rinse them well in running cool water, then remove the top film with a knife. Pull out the inner transparent cartilage and cut the pulp into small oblong pieces. If the squids have already been peeled and frozen, then defrost them in the refrigerator beforehand. We drain the excess liquid, which was released at the same time.
step 3 out of 7
Place the chopped squid in a bowl. Wash the parsley, dry it and chop finely with a knife. Pour greens for squid. Peel the garlic, wash, dry and cut into thin slices. Pour them after the parsley into a bowl for the squid. We mix everything together.
step 4 out of 7
Put squid with herbs and garlic in a bowl with fried onions. Put the washed rice on top.
step 5 out of 7
Next, pour the specified amount of water into the bowl. Its temperature should be warm. Pour in ground coriander, black pepper, salt to taste.
step 6 out of 7
We close the lid of the multicooker, set the “Pilaf” program for forty-five minutes and press “Start”.
step 7 out of 7
When the program is over, leave the finished pilaf on heating for another ten minutes, so that it infuses and becomes more saturated. Then we lay out the dish on portioned plates. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
Bon Appetit!
