Pilaf with duck in a slow cooker

Traditionally, pilaf is prepared with lamb and pork, but replacing this meat with duck aromatic with fat, your dish will change its taste for another, no less appetizing. Duck fatty meat will make pilaf very juicy and crumbly. Cooking pilaf in a multicooker, which will speed up and simplify your work.

Rinse duck meat (fillet or thigh) with cold water, remove excess moisture with napkins and cut it into small pieces.

Peel the carrots and bell peppers. Chop the carrots on a coarse grater or chop into thin cubes, and cut the pepper into small cubes.

Pour vegetable oil into a multi-bowl, turn on the "Fry" program and set the time to 20 minutes. Heat the oil for 2-3 minutes. Then put the pieces of duck fillet into the heated oil.

Measure out 3 multi-cups of rice. Which rice to take for pilaf, decide for yourself, because for crumbly pilaf in a slow cooker, rice only needs to be thoroughly rinsed, and the variety does not really matter.

After 10 minutes of frying the meat, open the lid of the multicooker and transfer the chopped onions into the bowl and fry them for 3 minutes, then transfer the peppers and carrots, stir and fry still for 5 minutes. Fry vegetables with meat also under a closed lid.

Then add seasoning to the fried ingredients, stir and fry everything for a couple of minutes, then the seasoning spices will give their maximum aroma. To your liking, if you want non-white rice, add ketchup to the meat. The process of frying zirvak should be on average 20 minutes.

Then put the prepared rice on top of the zirvak in an even layer and gently pour 5 multi-glasses of hot water. Place the garlic in the middle of the bowl and salt the dish to your liking. Close the lid of the multicooker and turn on the "Pilaf" or "Stew" program for the default time, depending on the model of your device. For pilaf in a slow cooker, 40 minutes is enough, so adjust the time yourself.

After the signal about the end of the program, let the pilaf steep for 10 minutes and then open the lid and gently stir the pilaf with a spatula.
