Pilaf in a multicooker for 5 liters

Most modern multi-cookers have a bowl volume of 5 liters (usable volume is 3 liters). This recipe shows the number of products for just such kitchen gadgets (in the USP-115OD multicooker recipe). Pilaf is cooked on the "Pilaf" or "Groats" programs, if there is no such program in your model, then cook on the "Stew" program. To make crumbly pilaf in a multicooker, and not rice porridge, the ratio of rice to water should be 1: 2.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 15
Rinse a piece of any (pork, beef, lamb) meat with cold water, dry with a towel and cut into small pieces.
step 2 out of 15
Chop the peeled carrots into thin strips.
step 3 out of 15
Chop the peeled onions into thin quarter rings.
step 4 out of 15
Pour vegetable oil into a multi-bowl so that it completely covers the bottom and turn on the Fry program for the default time.
step 5 out of 15
Transfer the pieces of meat to the heated oil and, stirring it with a spatula, fry until golden brown on all sides.
step 6 out of 15
Transfer the carrot strips to the fried meat.
step 7 out of 15
Then add the chopped onions and vegetables to the bowl and fry with the meat for at least 5 minutes.
step 8 out of 15
Pour 1 liter of boiling water over the fried ingredients and add pilaf seasoning and salt to your liking. Usually take ½ sachet of seasoning and 2 tsp. salt. Then mix everything well.
step 9 out of 15
Rinse the right amount of rice well with cold water using any method. Rinse until water is clear.
step 10 out of 15
Put the washed rice in a bowl, spreading it out in an even layer.
step 11 out of 15
Then place either peeled chives or a whole head in rice.
step 12 out of 15
Close the lid of the multicooker and turn on the desired program: "Pilaf", "Stewing" or "Meat", depending on the model of the appliance. The time will be set by default.
step 13 out of 15
After the signal about the end of the program, leave the pilaf for 10 minutes under the closed lid and then open it.
step 14 out of 15
Stir the pilaf gently with a spatula or wooden spoon and remove the sample.
step 15 out of 15
Loose and fragrant pilaf in a 5 liter slow cooker can be laid out in portioned plates and served.
Bon Appetit!
