Pilaf is always a great solution for lunch or a hearty dinner. It's delicious, nutritious, and convenient. And if you cook a dish in a multicooker-pressure cooker, then it is doubly convenient. Fry vegetables with meat in a bowl, add spices, water, rice, close the lid. The pressure cooker will cook pilaf further without our participation. It is advisable to use long-grain rice - it turns out friable and fluffy in the finished pilaf.

We immediately prepare products for making pilaf. Place the rice in a colander and rinse it under running water. The grains must be washed until they are translucent - this will mean that all excess starch is washed off. Pour the washed rice into a bowl and set aside.

Peel the onions, rinse, dry and cut into small cubes. We clean, wash, dry the carrots, cut them into small cubes or, as an option, three on a coarse grater.

Dry the chicken fillet with a paper towel and cut into small pieces. By the way, it is better to use thigh fillets, as they are much juicier than the breast.

On the panel of the device, select the preparation of pilaf for four portions. We start warming up. Pour a small amount of odorless vegetable oil into the bowl of the multicooker-pressure cooker. Pour the onion into hot oil, fry it lightly, until translucent. Then we lay the carrots, mix, cook for a couple of minutes. Then we lay the pieces of chicken fillet, mix, fry for five to seven minutes until a slight blush appears.

At this stage, we lay in the spices: turmeric, cumin, salt, mix. Next, add the washed rice, flatten it. Stick the peeled chives into the rice.

Pour so much hot water into the bowl so that it covers the rice by one and a half centimeters.

We close the lid of the device. We close the valve. We press "Ok" according to the given pilaf program.

After the specified program time has elapsed, open the pilaf and mix gently. We lay out the finished dish on portioned plates and serve hot. Decorate the surface with parsley leaves for added flavor and appeal.
