Pilaf in a multicooker-pressure cooker Redmond

The beauty of a multicooker-pressure cooker is that dishes are cooked in it several times faster than on the stove, since pressure is created in the bowl during cooking. Let's cook pilaf in this device. We suggest taking duck meat as a meat component - with this method it cooks faster, the fibers soften noticeably and the finished pilaf turns out to be very juicy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Pour the specified amount of odorless vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Select the "Fry" program and heat the oil until hot. Dry the duck meat with a paper towel and cut into small pieces. Put them in hot oil and fry with stirring until light crust.
step 2 out of 9
Peel the onions, rinse, dry and cut into small cubes. Pour into a bowl on the meat, mix and fry for a couple of minutes until the onion pieces are transparent. We clean, wash, dry the carrots, cut them into small cubes, which we pour into a bowl with meat and onions. Stir and continue to fry for another three to four minutes. The carrots should soften and begin to brown slightly.
step 3 out of 9
Pour the pilaf seasoning and salt to taste over the frying.
step 4 out of 9
Next, add barberry and cumin. It is better to pre-crush it in a mortar - this way the aroma will be more intense.
step 5 out of 9
Pour so much hot water into the bowl so that it covers the vegetables with spices by one and a half centimeters. Simmer for five minutes. At the same time, we prepare rice: we put it in a colander and rinse it under running water until transparent. We disassemble the garlic into cloves, but do not peel it. We wash them. Put the cereal in a bowl, add the chives, stir and add more hot water if necessary. Rice with vegetables should be covered with liquid one and a half centimeters.
step 6 out of 9
We close the lid of the device. The valve position is "closed".
step 7 out of 9
We choose the program "Pilaf" for fifteen minutes. We press "Start".
step 8 out of 9
After the specified program time has elapsed, we leave the pilaf on heating for another twenty minutes - the dish will infuse, it will become more saturated.
step 9 out of 9
We lay out the finished pilaf on portioned plates and serve hot. To contrast the color and flavor, sprinkle the surface of the portions with pomegranate seeds and fresh chopped parsley.
Bon Appetit!
