Buns on kefir from yeast dough in the oven

Great buns according to a simple recipe, light as fluff with a pleasant creamy aroma. They will remind you of the taste of pastries from Soviet pastry shops, which many are familiar with from childhood.

Add a teaspoon of sugar, dry yeast to warm milk, mix and leave for 15 minutes. In a separate container, combine kefir, salt, eggs, melted butter, remaining sugar and sifted flour. Add the yeast mass to the resulting mass.

Knead the dough until it becomes soft and elastic. Let it rest for 40-60 minutes in a warm place.

Wrap the grown dough with your hands and divide into small balls, cover them with cling film and leave for 20 minutes.

Roll each piece of dough into a rectangle 4-5 millimeters thick. Brush the dough with melted butter, sprinkle with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon and chopped walnuts.

Roll the rectangles into tubes.

Fold the tubes in half, fasten the edges, make an incision in the middle. Unroll the dough so that the shape resembles a heart.

Cover the baking dish with parchment paper, brush with vegetable oil and lay out the blanks. Place the buns in a warm proofing area for 30 minutes.

Then grease the blanks with a mixture of milk and yolks, put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool the buns a little, then serve.
