Garlic sprouts with pork

Arrows or shoots of garlic are quite edible herbs, with which you can come up with just a lot of recipes. One of them is stewing arrows with meat, for example, with pork. The dish turns out to be quite satisfying and, at the same time, not heavy. The recipe for shooters of garlic with meat came to us from China and does not lose its popularity.

Collect fresh garlic shoots, select all whole and not rotten ones. It is the very best arrows that we need to prepare the dish. However, you can take frozen arrows if you procure them.

Rinse the arrows well, dry and trim off the thin tops. Cut the arrows into small pieces 2-3 centimeters long.

Boil clean water, salt it and send the arrows to boiling water for literally a couple of minutes so that they soften.

Fold the arrows in a colander, then put them on ice or rinse well with ice water. So the arrows will remain of a pleasant juicy color and will not fade.

Rinse the meat well and cut it into thin strips, much like garlic shoots.

Beat the chicken egg, add the starch and one tablespoon (tablespoon) of vegetable oil. Stir the batter.

Put the meat in the batter and mix well so that all the pieces are thoroughly bathed in the egg mixture.
