Tomatoes with slices with onions for the winter without sterilization

We bring to your attention another way of harvesting tomatoes for the winter - canning them with slices with the addition of onions, carrots and parsley. Vegetables diversify the taste of tomatoes, herbs, onions and garlic add a spicy spicy taste to the conservation.

We wash the tomatoes under running water, cut them in half and remove the stalks. Cut the tomatoes into slices. If the tomatoes are small, just cut them in half.

Peel the onions, rinse and cut into thin rings.

We wash the hot peppers and cut them into thin rings together with the seeds.

Peel the carrots, rinse and cut off half. Cut thin grooves along the carrots and cut them into thin slices. We now have the shape of a flower.

We wash the parsley under a stream of cool running water, dry it on a towel and chop it coarsely.

We wash the cans with baking soda, rinse well with running water and put them in the oven with the neck down. We sterilize the cans for 8-10 minutes at a temperature of 110-120 degrees. Then, using a grip, remove the cans from the oven and let them cool for 10-15 minutes. Put peppercorns, hot peppers in sterilized jars and add a few pieces of carrots.

Put a little parsley on the bottom and lay a layer of tomatoes tightly. Then we sandwich with onion rings and put the tomato layer again. Thus, we fill the jar to the top. Put a little parsley, a few slices of carrots and hot pepper on top again.

We put a pot of water on the fire, bring it to a boil and pour boiling water into a jar. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for 10-15 minutes to warm up.

After the time has passed from the cans, pour the water back into the pan, add salt and sugar, mix well and bring the marinade to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes, then add vinegar and cook for another 1 minute, then remove the marinade from heat.

Pour the hot marinade into a jar, add vegetable oil on top.

Close the jar tightly with a boiled lid, turn it upside down and leave it to cool completely at room temperature, after which we put it in a cool dark place for storage.
