The recipe for canned tomatoes proposed by us surprises with its simplicity and fast preparation method. For the marinade, only salt and water are needed, the brine is prepared without adding any preservatives. Tomatoes prepared according to our recipe taste like natural tomato juice. We wash the tomatoes under running water, put them on a kitchen towel so that they dry out a little.

Put the tomatoes tightly in a pre-sterilized jar, pour salt on top of the tomatoes.

Place a cotton napkin at the bottom of a large pot for sterilization so that the jar does not slide over the pan and burst when heated. Place the jars of tomatoes in the pan, pour the water into the pan so that it reaches the shoulders of the jar. Pour cold, not boiled water into the jars themselves and cover them with lids. Put the saucepan over medium heat and bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and sterilize the jars for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, take the jars out of the water using a grip and tighten them tightly with boiled lids. We turn the cans upside down, let them cool at room temperature, and then put them in a cool dark place for storage.
