Canned tomatoes with aspirin

Canned tomatoes are a harvesting method that allows us to prepare tomatoes for future use for the winter. The use of aspirin in seaming allows it to be safely stored during the winter, since aspirin destroys all microbes and creates a favorable environment for long-term storage.

At the bottom of the sterilized jar, place peeled carrot rings, onion rings and parsley sprigs, bay leaves and a dill umbrella.

Put the washed tomatoes tightly into the jar and pour boiling water to the very neck of the jar. Cover the jar with a lid and leave the tomatoes for 20-25 minutes to warm them up well.

Put on the lid with holes on the jar and pour the water into the pan. We put the pan on fire, add salt and sugar. Stir and bring the marinade to a boil. After boiling, boil the marinade for 3 minutes and remove from heat. Pour citric acid into the jar and add aspirin.

Pour the hot marinade into a jar, tighten it tightly with a boiled lid and turn the jar upside down. We leave the tomatoes until they cool completely at room temperature, after which we put the jars for storage in a dark, cool place.
