Tomatoes under the snow are called a very tasty piquant preparation of tomatoes and garlic. This dish is prepared quite easily and is well stored in a dark place. According to our recipe, you can cook juicy aromatic tomatoes with garlic and mustard, which will perfectly decorate any hot dishes.

Take fresh firm tomatoes and inspect them for damage, softness and cracks. Leave only strong fruits and rinse them thoroughly under running water. Pierce each tomato with a toothpick at the place where the stalk is attached - so that the tomatoes pick up the marinade better and do not burst in the jar.

Spread the tomatoes in sterile jars and pour boiling water over them, leaving them in this position for five to ten minutes. During this time, peel and chop the garlic using a garlic press or grater, blender.

Pour the water from the tomato into a saucepan, add salt and sugar, mustard powder to it and bring to a boil. While the brine is boiling, add chopped garlic to the tomato jars. Pour vinegar into the boiling brine and quickly fill the jars with the workpiece. Roll up sterile lids.
