Pour the amount of table vinegar indicated in the recipe into a jar for the tomatoes and pour the boiling marinade over the tomatoes, filling the jar to the very top. Roll up the tomatoes immediately. Turn the jar onto the lid and cover with a warm blanket. Transfer the cooled tomatoes to the storage area for winter preparations.
