Tomatoes with French mustard

Tomatoes go well with French mustard. These round grains add a pleasant aroma, piquant taste to tomatoes, and in themselves they are interesting to the taste. It is better to use tomatoes for such a preparation of a small size, mature, but rather dense. Such fruits retain their shape well when preserved and look very appetizing.

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Thoroughly wash the tomatoes from dust and dirt. Preservation jars with my soda solution. Wash the lids and boil for two minutes in water, then let them dry. We put tomatoes in prepared jars. We do it tightly enough, but try not to deform the fruit. Pour boiling water over the stacked canned tomatoes and let the tomatoes steam for ten minutes.
step 2 out of 4
After the specified time, we drain the water from the cans. For this, it is convenient to use a special lid with holes: the fruits will not fall out, and the jar itself can be turned to drain as you like.
step 3 out of 4
To prepare the marinade, pour the specified amount of water into a saucepan. Add salt, granulated sugar, French mustard, bay leaf and allspice. We put the pan on the stove, heat the marinade and boil it for three minutes. Turn off the stove, add vinegar to the marinade and mix.
step 4 out of 4
Pour scalded tomatoes in a jar with boiling marinade and immediately roll them up with lids. We turn the cans upside down to check the tightness of the seaming. We wrap them with a warm blanket and let them cool slowly. After that, we remove the seaming in a cool and dark storage place.

Bon Appetit!
