Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We wash the apple under running water, cut it in half and clean it from seeds. Cut the apple into wedges. Peel the onion, rinse it and soak it for 2-3 minutes in cold water so that it does not irritate the eyes when cutting. Then cut the onion into slices.
step 2 out of 6
We rinse the jar with baking soda and rinse well with running water. Place half of the sliced apple and onion at the bottom of the jar.
step 3 out of 6
Then we put the washed tomatoes in the jar, between which we put the remnants of the sliced apple and onion, whole chives. We put the dill almost at the very top of the can and cover it with several tomatoes so that when water is added it does not float up.
step 4 out of 6
Add allspice and black peppercorns to the jar, distributing them on all sides of the jar.
step 5 out of 6
Dissolve salt and sugar in water, mix well.
step 6 out of 6
Pour a tablespoon of mustard powder into the jar and pour the marinade to the very neck of the jar. Close the jar tightly with a nylon lid and shake a little so that the marinade with mustard is evenly distributed among all the tomatoes. We put the jar in a small container or basin, in case the marinade leaks from the jar during marinating. We remove the jar in a cool place or lower it into the cellar. After 1.5-2 months, our tomatoes will be marinated and will be completely ready for consumption. Bon Appetit!
