In recent years, pickling tomatoes with carrot tops has become quite popular, and all because the tops have a special aroma and replace other greens in the marinade, giving tomatoes a special taste. But preservation acquires this taste only after 4–5 months, just in time for winter. The marinade is prepared with citric acid, and with essence, and with vinegar, and with aspirin, and the amount of sugar can be increased to your liking. We marinate tomatoes in 1.5 liter jars and sterilized.

put the tomatoes in 4 3-liter jars, on the bottom with onion rings, spices, tomatoes, a large bunch of tops on top, pour boiling water, drain after 5 minutes, boil the marinade in the same water, add 20 tablespoons of sugar and 5 tablespoons salt, pour again for 5 minutes. Drain, boil, add 350 ml of 9% vinegar, pour the jars, roll up. There remains a certain amount of pouring, which is just enough for a liter jar, so I also have it with tomatoes, but it does not participate in the process of pouring, only with boiling water, at the last pouring there is just enough marinade for this jar
