In recent years, pickling tomatoes with carrot tops has become quite popular, and all because the tops have a special aroma and replace other greens in the marinade, giving tomatoes a special taste. But preservation acquires this taste only after 4–5 months, just in time for winter. The marinade is prepared with citric acid, and with essence, and with vinegar, and with aspirin, and the amount of sugar can be increased to your liking. We marinate tomatoes in 1.5 liter jars and sterilized.

Since we marinate tomatoes in a 1.5-liter jar, which is convenient for a small family, we choose small fruits, ripe and dense. We wash and dry the tomatoes with a napkin.

We wash the carrot tops with cold water and also dry it with a napkin. If your tops are stale, then we soak them in cold water in advance.

We wash the jar with baking soda and dry sterilize (in the oven or microwave), so it will be safer for storage. Put the spices indicated in the recipe at the bottom of the jar.

Then in a saucepan, cook the marinade from the amount of water, sugar and salt calculated for the volume of the workpiece. Pour vinegar into the boiling marinade and turn off the fire.

We put prepared tomatoes in a jar, shifting them with sprigs of carrot tops. For 5 minutes, pour the tomatoes with boiling water and drain the water.
