Tomatoes with carrot tops in a 2 liter jar for the winter

Tomatoes are placed in a jar with tops, poured with boiling water and left for 20 minutes. Then all the water is drained into a saucepan and a marinade is prepared from salt, sugar and vinegar. The brine is poured into the banks and everything is rolled up. Delicious and aromatic tomatoes are obtained.

To begin with, we thoroughly wash the jars under hot water with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. We wash the carrot tops well under running water, dry them on a paper towel and put them in jars.

We also rinse the tomatoes and arrange them in the jars.

Boil water and pour tomatoes. We cover the jars with lids and let stand in this way for 20 minutes.

After the necessary time, put on the lids with holes on the jars and pour all the liquid into the pan. Add salt, granulated sugar, then put on fire and bring to a boil.

Let the marinade boil for a couple of minutes, then remove it from the heat, pour in the vinegar and mix everything.

Pour the tomatoes with carrot tops with hot marinade to the very brim. Then we roll up everything with sterile lids, turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and leave it to cool completely for several hours or overnight.
