Lightly salted tomatoes can be prepared using the express method in a bag. A delicious juicy snack will be ready in a couple of hours. The set of ingredients is minimal: in addition to tomatoes, we use only dill, parsley, garlic and salt. Of course, you can additionally add any spices and herbs to taste, but these additives are more than enough to get the optimal taste and aroma. Any tomatoes are suitable for this method, however, meaty, dense tomatoes with a minimum amount of juicy content are especially tasty.

Thoroughly wash the tomatoes from dirt and dry them with a towel. We cut each tomato into four parts, along the way cutting out the trace from the stalk. Cut the quarters into large slices. Do not cut too thin, as the pieces may break or deform during the mixing process. Dill and parsley are also washed and dried well. Peel the garlic, wash and dry.

Finely chop the prepared greens with a knife. Pass the chives through a press.

Put tomatoes, chopped herbs and garlic in a dense plastic bag. Fill in the specified amount of salt and squeeze the edges of the bag with your hand. Lightly shake the contents of the bag with the other hand so that the salt, tomatoes and herbs mix well. Tie the edges of the bag and place it in the refrigerator.

Every forty minutes, it is advisable to shake the bag with tomatoes so that the released aromatic juice with herbs is evenly distributed over all the slices. But even if there is no opportunity to look into the refrigerator so often, the tomatoes will still be marinated. Before serving, they must be mixed so that the pieces of garlic and herbs evenly cover each tomato wedge.
