Tomatoes in their own juice wedges

Some housewives categorically do not use table vinegar when preparing preparations for the winter. I recommend using a funky recipe and making a tomato appetizer in its own juice in slices.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Select strong tomatoes. Tear off the tails, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, dry and cut into slices, removing the stalk. Prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, water bath, or oven. Put the lids in a saucepan, cover with water and boil for about 10 minutes.
step 2 out of 4
Place allspice and cloves on the bottom of sterile jars. Then fill the jars with tomato slices. Add salt and cover with sterile lids. Then transfer them to a pot lined with a kitchen towel, pour warm water over the hangers of the jars. Put the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, reduce heat and sterilize for about an hour.
step 3 out of 4
Gently remove hot jars with tomato appetizers from the pan, add citric acid, roll up with a seamer. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave them in this form until they cool completely for about a day.
step 4 out of 4
Then turn over and move the jars to a cool, dark place for storage.

Bon Appetit!
