Tomatoes in their own juice for the winter without sterilization

I want to share a simple recipe for making a tomato snack in my own juice. This recipe does not require sterilization, which will greatly shorten the cooking time. A tomato appetizer for the winter is obtained with a rich tomato flavor and will certainly appeal to tomato lovers.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Select tomatoes that are dense and about the same size. Tear off the ponytails, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, dry. Stick the dried tomatoes around the stalk with a toothpick.
step 2 out of 7
Prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, water bath, or oven. Put the lids in a saucepan, cover with water and boil for about 10 minutes. Fill sterile jars with tomatoes.
step 3 out of 7
Select soft tomatoes, tear off the tails, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, dry. Pass the dried tomatoes through a juicer. Tomatoes can be minced using a blender, food processor, or meat grinder. But in this case, the resulting mass will need to be filtered through a fine sieve.
step 4 out of 7
Pour the chopped tomatoes into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Place on medium heat. Bring to a boil. Add granulated sugar and salt, cook for about 5-7 minutes. Then pour in the vinegar, stir and immediately remove from heat.
step 5 out of 7
Pour the cooked boiling filling over the jars of tomatoes. Cover the jars with sterile lids. Gently roll up hot cans of tomato appetizer with a sealer or lids.
step 6 out of 7
Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave them in this form until they cool completely for about a day.
step 7 out of 7
Then turn over and move the jars to a cool, dark place for storage. The cooled appetizer can be tasted in a few days, but it is better to do this in a week.

Bon Appetit!
