Wash the tomatoes. Cut large meaty vegetables into slices, transfer to a saucepan, boil for a few minutes until the juice comes out. Then rub the tomato paste through a metal sieve.

Pierce strong small tomatoes with a toothpick, spread loosely over clean jars, pour boiling water over them and leave for 15 minutes.

Put the resulting puree on the stove, add salt and sugar, stir and bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes, add vinegar at the end of cooking.

Drain the jars and immediately fill them with hot tomato juice to the very top so that there is no air left under the lids. Roll up the jars, turn them upside down and leave for a day until they cool completely. Store sewing in a cool place.
