Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare cans and lids for seaming, sterilize them in any way convenient for you. Choose medium-sized tomatoes, wash them, pierce them at the base with a toothpick or fork, put them in jars without pressing them together.
step 2 out of 5
Boil water in a saucepan, pour over tomatoes in jars with it. After 10-15 minutes, drain the tomato jars. Jars can be covered with boiled lids.
step 3 out of 5
Wash the fleshy very ripe tomatoes, cut into quarters, put in a saucepan and put on low heat. Cook until almost boiling and until the tomatoes are actively producing juice. Then you can increase the fire.
step 4 out of 5
When a lot of juice forms in the saucepan, pour the tomato paste into a metal sieve in a large saucepan or bowl. Rub the tomatoes through a sieve.
step 5 out of 5
Put the tomato juice on the fire, add salt, sugar at the rate of 3 tablespoons per 5-6 liters of liquid. It should be borne in mind that tomatoes will absorb salt, so the tomato juice should be salted. Bring the juice to a boil and cook for 25-35 minutes. Finally add the vinegar, stir and remove the pot from the stove. Pour the tomatoes with the resulting tomato sauce, roll up, turn upside down, cover the rolls with a warm blanket and leave at room temperature until they cool completely. Then transfer the tomatoes in their own juice to a cool place for storage.
