Tomatoes in their own juice are sweet

If you have a large number of ripe soft tomatoes, and you do not know what to cook so that the food does not go to waste, I recommend using this recipe. Sweet tomatoes in their own juice will decorate your table and will be a great treat.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare the jars first, wash them thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Place the lids in a saucepan with water and simmer for about 10 minutes. Select dense tomatoes, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, dry. Cut the tomatoes into several pieces, removing the stalks, and then fill the sterile jars.
step 2 out of 5
Peel the garlic and add to each jar. Add allspice and peas if desired. Rinse soft tomatoes thoroughly, dry, cut into several parts, removing the stalk, and pass through a meat grinder.
step 3 out of 5
Then strain the chopped tomatoes through a fine sieve to prevent the skins and seeds from getting into the potting. Pour the strained tomato mass into a saucepan with a thick bottom. Place on medium heat. Bring to a boil.
step 4 out of 5
Add granulated sugar and salt, cook for about 5-7 minutes until completely dissolved, then pour in vinegar, stir and immediately remove from heat. Fill the jars with tomatoes with the cooked boiling filling, then cover with sterile lids.
step 5 out of 5
Gently roll up hot cans of tomato appetizers with a sealer or lids. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave them cool for a couple of days. Then turn over and move the jars to a cool, dark place for storage.

Bon Appetit!
