Lean dumplings not only decorate the table during fasting, but are also perfect for a family lunch or dinner during berry season. Lean dough turns out to be plastic and soft, rolls out very thinly, and does not tear or deform during cooking.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Sift 2 cups (320g) wheat flour into a deep bowl. When sifting, the flour is enriched with oxygen, and the dough is airy. Make a depression in the center of the flour slide and pour sunflower oil into it. Then add salt. Gradually add warm boiled water and knead the dough. When the dough begins to collect into a ball and does not stick to the sides of the bowl, transfer it to a work surface and knead further until it becomes pliable and elastic. Fold the dough in a plastic bag or wrap in plastic wrap and leave to rise for an hour.
Place the filling in the middle of the mug. About 3-4 cherries in sugar and flour. And shape the dumplings. Dumplings with a pigtail edge are very beautiful. The photo shows how to make it. Place the blinded dumplings on a floured surface so that you can easily pick it up later and transfer it to the pan.
Bon Appetit!
