Lean banana muffin

The taste of banana baked goods is always recognizable due to its specific notes and dark caramel color. We offer a recipe for the next banana cake for lovers of such products. The composition of the dough is completely simple, the necessary ingredients can be found in any kitchen. The cake turns out to be very budgetary, but at the same time rich in taste. We recommend using bananas that are soft, even overripe - they will give a pronounced specific taste and dark color.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We prepare the ingredients. Sift the flour. We choose bananas that are overripe, with a spotted or darkened peel. We clean them up.
step 2 out of 7
Immediately prepare a baking dish: grease it with a small amount of odorless vegetable oil. Also, for insurance, you can cover the form with oiled parchment - in this case, it will then be easy to get the already baked cake. If the mold is silicone, no lubrication is required.
step 3 out of 7
Put the peeled bananas (two jokes) in a bowl and knead with a fork until you get a heterogeneous puree. You can also puree them with a blender, but in this case the banana mass will be homogeneous and will not give small pieces in the finished cake.
step 4 out of 7
Add the specified amount of water, vegetable oil, granulated sugar to the mashed bananas. Knead everything until smooth.
step 5 out of 7
Finally, add dry ingredients: sifted flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon. We mix everything together. The resulting dough should not be too thick, at the same time, it should not have a pouring consistency. At this stage, chopped nuts or raisins can be added to the dough, if desired.
step 6 out of 7
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We spread the dough into the prepared form, level it. Cut the remaining third banana lengthwise into two halves and put it on the cake, press lightly. Put the cake pan in the oven on a medium level and bake for forty to forty-five minutes. It may take a little more or less baking time - a lot depends on the oven. The finished cake rises slightly, the surface is covered with a dark golden crust. Readiness can be checked with a wooden skewer - if it comes out of the cake dry, then we finish baking.
step 7 out of 7
We take out the finished cake from the oven, remove it from the mold. Let cool completely. Sprinkle the surface with sifted icing sugar and serve.
Bon Appetit!
