It's all about the verified proportions of ingredients, the presence of orange and aromatic spices in the composition. These products set the tone for the cake and guarantee its versatile flavor.

We prepare coffee right away. It is better, of course, not to use instant powder, but to brew a drink from ground grains. We measure out the required amount of ready-made hot coffee. We wash the raisins in warm water, squeeze out with our hands and put them in coffee. We leave to soak for a while and move on to other ingredients. Pour orange juice into a saucepan. Juice, by the way, is better to take freshly squeezed, and not packaged. Add zest to the juice, add granulated sugar and place on the stove. Heat the juice and stir at the same time with a whisk. When the sugar crystals dissolve, remove from the stove and let the liquid cool.

Sift flour into a separate bowl. Pour soda, cinnamon, ground cloves into it. Stir dry ingredients.

Add odorless vegetable oil and mineral carbonated water to the cooled juice with sugar. Drain the coffee from the raisins and add it to the orange-oil mass, mix.

Pour flour with soda and spices to the resulting liquid mixture. Stir everything together with a whisk until smooth, break all the lumps and knead the dough of medium density. Put the remaining soaked raisins into the dough, mix.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. Grease the baking dish with a small amount of odorless vegetable oil and sprinkle with flour. You can also line the pan with oiled parchment to make it easier to remove the finished cake. If the mold is silicone, then lubrication is not necessary. We spread the dough in the prepared form. We align. We put in the already hot oven on the middle level and bake for fifty to sixty minutes. If the cake starts to brown too much before baking time, you can cover it with foil. At the end of baking, check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick by sticking it into the center of the product: if the stick comes out dry, then baking can be completed.

We take the finished cake out of the oven, remove it from the mold and transfer it to the wire rack so that condensation does not form. Let the product cool completely - the crumb should take shape.Then thickly sprinkle the surface with sifted powdered sugar, cut into portions and serve.
