Apricot jam with a blender

Apricot fruits contain a large amount of useful vitamins and minerals. When apricots are heat treated, a large amount of nutrients are retained. Therefore, the apricot jam is not only tasty and aromatic, but also healthy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare the required ingredients for the apricot jam. Sort the apricots well and rinse thoroughly under running water. Let the fruit dry. Cut the washed and dried apricots in half and remove the seeds.
step 2 out of 5
Put the prepared apricots in a saucepan with a thick bottom and use a hand blender to grind them until smooth. If you don't have a hand blender, then use a meat grinder.
step 3 out of 5
Pour in the required amount of water and mix thoroughly. Place a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil. If foam forms, carefully remove it. Turn off the heat and let the apricot puree cool completely.
step 4 out of 5
Wipe the cooled puree through a fine sieve and place the homogeneous mass back into the pan. Add the required amount of granulated sugar. Stir occasionally to completely dissolve the granulated sugar. Cook for about 35-45 minutes over low heat. Add citric acid 5 minutes before cooking and mix thoroughly.
step 5 out of 5
Prepare the jars, wash them thoroughly and sterilize them along with the lids. Using a ladle, gently pour the jam into sterile jars. Roll up hot jars of apricot jam with a seamer or screw the lids and turn upside down. Leave to cool completely. Then transfer to a dark place for storage.

Enjoy!
