Jam from apricots through a meat grinder

We provide a simplified recipe for making apricot jam. Grind these fruits in a meat grinder with a fine grid. For its thicker consistency, it is proposed to add a little gelatin to the jam, so you do not need to cook for a long time.

Rinse the apricots well and cut them into halves and remove the seeds.

Transfer the apricot puree to the jam pot, add the calculated amount of sugar and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

Then twist them with a meat grinder and on a fine wire rack.

Soak gelatin for 30 minutes in cold boiled water.

Wash the lemon, squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a boiling jam. Then transfer the swollen gelatin to the jam. Stir the jam so that the gelatin is completely dissolved, and turn off the heat, since the gelatin cannot be boiled.

Put the jam in sterile jars, immediately roll up the boiled lids and turn upside down. Cover the jam with a blanket and, after complete cooling, transfer to storage.
