Blackberry jam for the winter

Blackberries are a very tasty and healthy berry that attracts attention with their unusual appearance. Garden berries are larger and more juicy, despite this, it is better to take small forest berries for jam.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Sort out the blackberries, wash gently, discard in a colander so that the water is glass.
step 2 out of 4
Transfer the berries to an enamel pot, stirring constantly, and cook to a temperature of 85-90 degrees.
step 3 out of 4
Wipe hot boiled berries through a sieve. Put the resulting mass on fire, cook over low heat, constantly adding sugar. The berry syrup should be reduced in volume by about a quarter. To prevent the jam from being too thick, add the applesauce at the end of cooking.

Put the finished blackberry jam in sterilized jars, tighten the lids tightly and leave to cool at room temperature, then put in the cold.

Bon Appetit!
