Jam is prepared from fruit puree, obtained by grinding pears and apples in a meat grinder. Apples contain a lot of pectin, which will give the jam a good consistency. To prepare high-quality jam, it is imperative to determine the volume of fruit puree and take the amount of sugar in a ratio of 1: 2 to puree.
