Pear jam with cinnamon for the winter

Pears go well with cinnamon. I want to share a recipe for pear jam with cinnamon for the winter. If you use fruit jam as a filling for homemade baking, it will give the treats an incredible flavor and it is simply impossible to stop before such a dessert.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Select the required amount of soft, ripe pears. Wash them thoroughly in cool running water using a fruit and vegetable brush. Dry the prepared pears, then peel them with a vegetable peeler, and remove the seeds and core.
step 2 out of 9
Cut the prepared peeled pears into small pieces and place in a deep container.
step 3 out of 9
Fill in the required amount of granulated sugar.
step 4 out of 9
Stir well and let sit for about 30 minutes to release the fruit juice.
step 5 out of 9
Put the fruit mass in a metal dish with a thick bottom.
step 6 out of 9
Then put on moderate heat and bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer pears for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally and skimming off the resulting foam.
step 7 out of 9
Cool the fruit mass slightly, then use a hand blender and chop until smooth. Add lemon juice and the required amount of cinnamon. Punch again with a hand blender. Put the saucepan on moderate heat and bring to a boil, reduce heat, and boil the jam for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. The fruit mass will thicken enough - this is a sign that the jam is ready.
step 8 out of 9
Wash the jars well in warm water and baking soda and sterilize in a convenient way. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil. Gently arrange the hot pear jam in sterile jars and screw with sterile lids. Then turn it upside down and wrap something warm. Leave to cool completely for a day.
step 9 out of 9
Transfer the completely cooled jars of pear jam to a dark, cool place for storage - in the basement, cellar or closet. The cooled jam will thicken well. Ready-made pear jam with cinnamon can be served with tea.

Bon Appetit!
