Red cherry plum jam for the winter

Red cherry plum jam will serve as an addition to pancakes, and as a refreshing layer in cakes, and just as a dessert for tea. It has a pleasant sweet and sour taste and rich purple-red color. And for a dense consistency, add jellix additionally.

Cherry plum is well washed, we do not use spoiled fruits, we remove the stalks.

Place the prepared cherry plum in a bulky dish. Fill with water to the surface, put it on the stove. Close with a lid and bring to a boil. Steam the cherry plum over low heat for five minutes. Then we put the fruits on a sieve and let cool slightly.

We remove the bones from the softened cherry plum by hand.

Punch the resulting cherry plum pulp with an immersion blender.

Mix the gelix separately with two tablespoons of granulated sugar.
