Jam from ranetki with orange for the winter

Citrus-flavored apple jam, thickly spread over fresh white bread, is the perfect breakfast for adults and kids alike. It is very simple to prepare such a jam, moreover, thanks to the preparation in a multicooker. Fruits retain all their trace elements and acids as much as possible.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We thoroughly wash the ranetki and peel it with a vegetable peeler, but do not throw out the trimmings, but put them aside - they will still be useful to us. Cut the core together with the bones. Move the randomly chopped fruits to the multicooker bowl, add ½ glass of water and turn on the "Baking" mode for 30 minutes.
step 2 out of 7
Transfer the remaining apple peel to a saucepan and fill it with a glass of water. We send to the stove and boil over low heat, about 25-30 minutes.
step 3 out of 7
Remove the zest from the orange without touching the white shell (this is easiest to do with a fine grater), and squeeze the juice out of the pulp.
step 4 out of 7
Drain the broth from the boiled peel, which is what we need. It will turn out no more than half a glass, but this will be enough for us, since it is in the skin that the highest concentration of pectin, due to which, the jam is very thick and textured.
step 5 out of 7
After turning off the multicooker, grind the apples with a blender and add the broth, freshly squeezed orange juice and zest to the resulting puree, mix.
step 6 out of 7
Cook the homogeneous mass for another 40-60 minutes, also turning on the "Baking" program. During cooking, you must periodically open the lid and stir the jam.
step 7 out of 7
After turning off the multicooker, open the lid and let the mass cool down a little. Next, we lay out everything in a clean and sterile container, roll it up and cover with a blanket until it cools completely. Then we store it in the cellar or basement. Bon Appetit!
