Today we will prepare a very tasty, aromatic and thick jam from heavenly apples with the addition of one of the most useful dried fruits - dried apricots. A recipe proven over the years, which will not take much time, but will greatly delight the result.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Ranetki can be taken, both large and small, any will do. We wash the fruits thoroughly, remove the tails and damaged areas.
step 2 out of 10
Chop at random, getting rid of the core and seeds. It is recommended to put apples in a bowl of water to preserve color or sprinkle with lemon juice.
step 3 out of 10
Transfer the prepared ingredient to a saucepan. Do not be alarmed if there are a lot of ranetki, they will noticeably decrease in size during the cooking process.
step 4 out of 10
Pour a glass of filtered water into the dishes and put on a small fire, for about 25-30 minutes, until the apples are completely softened. At this time, we soak dried apricots in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes.
step 5 out of 10
We check the softened fruits for readiness with a spatula - they should fall apart.
step 6 out of 10
Finely chop the presoaked dried fruits and send them to the pan, mix.
step 7 out of 10
We interrupt the mass with an immersion blender until smooth. It is better to do this in a food bowl so as not to damage the sides and bottom of the pan.
step 8 out of 10
Return the mashed potatoes to the pan, add sugar, stir thoroughly and simmer for no more than 12 minutes.
step 9 out of 10
It turns out a rather liquid consistency, which thickens during the cooling process.
step 10 out of 10
Pour the finished jam into pre-sterilized jars, roll it up, turn it upside down until it cools down and store it in a dark place. Bon Appetit!
