Today we will prepare a very tasty and tender jam from paradise apples - ranetki. It is done quite simply, but it turns out to be very thick, which makes it an ideal "spread" on a freshly baked loaf!

Rinse the apples thoroughly and leave them whole, if the fruits are small. If the fruits are large, then they should still be cut in half to speed up cooking. Put the pure fruits in a saucepan and add a little water, about 100-200 ml.

We put the container on a small fire and simmer our fruits for 45-50 minutes, during which time the main ingredient will reach the required softness.

Readiness can be easily checked with a toothpick or skewer. When the tip easily enters the pulp - ready, remove from heat.

Put the stewed apples into a sieve and grind, using a spoon or a wooden "crush" to make mashed potatoes.

Transfer the resulting homogeneous pulp back to the pan, add sugar and mix thoroughly. We put on low heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or spatula.

We lay out the finished jam on pre-sterilized banks and roll it up. We put the filled cans upside down and cover with a blanket. Cool and put in the cellar. Bon Appetit!
