Plum jam with nuts

This jam is simply incredibly tasty and aromatic, very healthy. This jam can be eaten with tea or used for baking. The delicate taste and aroma of walnuts with cinnamon gives some oriental aroma to jam, fills with warmth and comfort.

Gently wash the previously collected and sorted plums, dry them and cut them in half. Remove the seeds from the fruit.

Peel the walnuts and crush them with a knife or a special nut crushing device.

Put the plums in a saucepan, add granulated sugar and turn on the heat. Cook the jam until it boils.

Add ginger and cinnamon to a saucepan. Boil the plum jam for an hour so that it boils well and thickens. If it itself has not boiled into jam, then beat the jam with a blender in the middle of cooking. After you grind the jam, add the nuts to the jam.

You can immediately close the jam in sterile jars and roll up with sterile lids, or eat it just like that, transferring it to a clean, dry container.
