Jam from plums in a slow cooker

I recommend making a fragrant plum jam in a slow cooker. I like to cook jam, jelly or jam in a slow cooker, the main advantage is that you don't need to keep an eye on it. It is enough to install the program and wait for it to end.

Prepare the ingredients for the plum jam. Rinse the plums thoroughly under cold running water. Cut the plums in half and remove the seeds. The cleaned plums should be about 2 kilograms. Pass the peeled plums through a meat grinder, chop with a food processor or blender.

Put the chopped plum mass into the multicooker bowl and cover with the required amount of granulated sugar.

Mix thoroughly. Insert the multicooker bowl into the appliance, close the multicooker lid.

On the appliance panel, select the "Stew" mode, set the cooking time to 40 minutes.

After the beep, open the lid of the multicooker and carefully but gently stir the plum jam. Prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, water bath, or oven. Banks must be completely dry.

Using a ladle, gently pour the jam over sterile jars. Tightly tighten the hot jars of jam from the plums with lids, after pouring them with boiling water, and turn them upside down. Leave as it is until completely cooled, covered with a warm blanket or towel. Then turn the jars over and transfer to a cool, dark place for storage.
