Jam from plums hungarian

A fantastically tasty jam is obtained from Hungarian plums. They do not need to be skinned, they are sweet and juicy. Such jam is eaten very quickly, therefore, while there are plums available, we recommend preparing a lot of jars at once.

Wash the plums, let the water drain.

Cut the fruits in half, remove the seeds from them.

Arrange the halves of the plums in layers, placing them in the middle up. Sprinkle each layer of fruit with granulated sugar. Remove the plums with sugar for 6-7 hours in the refrigerator so that the juice of the fruits soaks the sugar.

Set the bowl of jam over medium heat, bring to a boil. Remember to remove the foam. Reduce the fire to minimum and let it boil for another 3 minutes. Leave to brew and cool for 6-8 hours. Repeat the manipulations 2 more times.

When the mass boils for the third time, it must be boiled to the required density from 10 to 25 minutes.

Pour the jam into sterilized jars and roll them up using a special machine. Allow to cool to room temperature and then remove to the closet.
