Jam from apples and plums

Apples and plums are very common in the summer season; in dachas and in villages there is nowhere to go from the fruits of these trees. You can freeze them, cook compotes, pies and more. We suggest you try to make apple-plum jam without sugar, healthy and vitamin. Try it!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Rinse the apples in running water, remove the core from each apple. Grate the apples on a grater, peeling the skin off the fruit in parallel.
step 2 out of 7
Next, gently rinse the plums and remove the seeds from them, and cut the fruits in half with a knife.
step 3 out of 7
Put the apples with plums in a cauldron and turn on the fire on the stove. Heat the fruit for about ten minutes so that they have time to start juicing.
step 4 out of 7
Kill the fruits in a cauldron with a blender until smooth and continue to cook. When the fruit puree becomes even thinner. Blend it again with a blender. You can add sugar if you want a sweet jam.
step 5 out of 7
While cooking the jam, sterilize the jars in boiling water, and boil the lids. You can sterilize the dishes in another convenient way, for example, over steam or in the oven.
step 6 out of 7
Put the finished jam in sterile jars and quickly tighten the lids, then turn the jars with jam upside down to cool. Additionally, you can cover them with a blanket or towel to cool the workpiece as slowly as possible.
step 7 out of 7
Ready-made apple jam and plums are well stored in cool, dark places, for example, in the refrigerator and cellar.

Bon Appetit!
