We wash the cherry plum, discard the spoiled fruits, remove the stalks. Put the prepared cherry plum into a saucepan and pour water into it in such an amount that it covers the fruits. We put it on the stove. Close with a lid and bring to a boil. We steam the cherry plum over low heat for five to seven minutes.

Then we put the fruits on a sieve and let the liquid drain. We rub the cherry plum through a sieve, thus separating the seeds and getting a homogeneous puree.

Pour the resulting puree into a saucepan, add granulated sugar, mix. Put on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Cook the jam for forty - fifty minutes. The mass should become thicker. Do not forget to stir.

Wash jars and lids, sterilize. Pour the finished hot jam into sterile jars. We tighten the lids, let cool completely. We remove the jam for storage in a cellar or refrigerator. After cooling and cooling, the jam becomes thicker.
