PP pita bread with tomatoes, egg and cheese in a frying pan

Lavash is a versatile flour product that can be used as a standalone product or can be used to prepare a wide variety of snacks from it. Today I want to propose to cook a delicious pita bread with egg and cheese in a pan. Envelopes will be a great option for a healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly in cool running water, and then dry them to remove excess moisture with a kitchen towel and cut into slices 5-7 millimeters thick. Cut the hard cheese into slices 5-7 millimeters thick. You can use any cheese you like.
step 2 out of 9
Cut the sheets of Armenian lavash into several identical rectangular pieces. I usually cut the sheet into 2-3 pieces depending on the size of the pita bread. Beat the chicken egg until smooth, and then brush each part of the pita bread with a silicone brush. Top with a slice of cheese, sprinkle with dried basil.
step 3 out of 9
Then add your favorite spices to taste.
step 4 out of 9
Then lay out the tomato slices, salt a little if necessary.
step 5 out of 9
Gently fold the pita bread into an envelope, folding the opposite sides of the pita bread towards the center.
step 6 out of 9
Then use a toothpick to gently seal the edges together. Form the rest of the envelopes this way.
step 7 out of 9
Heat the pan well over moderate heat and brush with a little vegetable oil. If you are using a non-stick pan or grill pan, you do not need to grease with oil. Put the envelopes in a hot skillet and fry on one side until a delicious golden brown crust.
step 8 out of 9
Then gently flip onto the other side with two forks and fry for just a couple of minutes.
step 9 out of 9
Serve crispy flavored lavash with egg and cheese.

Enjoy incredibly tasty and healthy homemade cakes!
