Making lasagne without lasagna sheets is easy! Lasagna sheets can be easily replaced with lavash sheets. This will not affect the taste at all, and the cooking time will significantly shorten. And in the end, we will get the same tasty, aromatic, juicy lasagna that you and your household will like.

We clean the onion, rinse and chop into small cubes. We spread to sauté in a preheated pan with olive oil. After that, put the minced meat on the onion, salt, pepper and cook under the lid until tender, not forgetting to stir occasionally.

Rinse the tomatoes, cut into large cubes and put in a saucepan. We put on medium heat and simmer until soft. When the tomatoes can be milled with a fork - we grind them through a sieve - we have a delicious natural tomato puree.

Add tomato puree to the minced meat, add spices to the minced meat, mix everything well and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes so that the excess liquid evaporates.

Let's start making béchamel sauce. In a saucepan, melt the butter, then add flour to it and fry it a little.

Add milk to the saucepan and mix thoroughly with a whisk until the mass is completely homogeneous. Cook the sauce over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. After that, add salt, nutmeg and 50 grams of finely grated cheese to the sauce. Mix well and remove from heat.

We start assembling the lasagna: put a sheet of pita bread on the bottom of the mold greased with olive oil. Lubricate it with béchamel sauce and spread the minced meat. Cover the minced meat with the next sheet of pita bread and thus re-layer all the sheets of pita bread.

The last layer should be pita bread, coat it well with sauce and sprinkle with cheese grated on a coarse grater. We put the mold with lasagna in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
