PP jellied kefir pie with cabbage in the oven

Kefir baked goods with vegetables are great for those who adhere to proper nutrition. It is low in calories and high in fiber compared to regular pastries. To make the jellied pie tender, we recommend using young cabbage - its fibers are softer and faster baked. By the way, kefir in this recipe can be replaced with low-fat natural yogurt, it also turns out very tasty.

To prepare the dough, break the egg into a bowl. Shake it with a whisk.

Then add kefir, salt and soda. Mix well again until smooth. Pour in the sifted flour and knead the smooth dough without lumps. It turns out to be quite liquid. We set the dough aside and start filling.

Thinly chop the young cabbage with a knife or grind it with a special grater.

Wash green onions, dry and cut into small pieces.

Peel the carrots from the top peel, wash, dry and rub on a coarse grater.

Pour chopped cabbage, carrot shavings and chopped green onions into a large bowl. Pour in salt to taste and mix well with your hands, slightly squeezing the mass to soften.

We grease the cake pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil or cover it with oiled parchment - then it will be more convenient to remove the finished cake. If the mold is silicone, then you do not need to lubricate it with anything.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared form. We distribute it evenly along the bottom.

Put the cabbage filling in an even layer on the dough.

Pour the remaining half of the dough onto the filling, closing it in this way. Additionally, spread the dough on the surface with the back of the spoon so that there are no gaps.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the pie in it on the middle level. Baking time is approximately thirty to thirty five minutes. The cake should brown well.
