Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
We prepare the ingredients: the fruits should only be taken whole, without any signs of decay and not beaten. In addition to apples, we need sugar and citric acid.
step 2 out of 9
Ranetki are best taken of approximately the same size, so that they are prepared in the same way in time.
step 3 out of 9
After we have sorted out all the fruits, rinse thoroughly and pierce at the base with a toothpick or skewer.
step 4 out of 9
Next, prepare the syrup: in a container of a suitable size, mix granulated sugar and water, bring to a boil over low heat.
step 5 out of 9
Add one pinch of citric acid to the burning mixture, foam will appear.
step 6 out of 9
Gently pour the apples into the semi-finished syrup and cook over low heat for about 12-15 minutes. You can gently pour the syrup on top, but in no case stir, as the fruits will turn into porridge. Turn off and let cool completely.
step 7 out of 9
We repeat the procedure three times, each time, be sure to cool the apples to room temperature.
step 8 out of 9
Pour the finished jam into sterilized jars and roll up. Next, turn the cans upside down, cover with a towel and leave for a day. Then we put it in a dark place for storage or use it.
step 9 out of 9
Our jam is ready. Bon Appetit!
