Transparent jam from ranetki whole for the winter

Apples are boiled in sugar syrup in three steps. After the first two, they are left overnight to soak in the syrup. Hot jam is poured into jars and tightly closed with lids.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Rinse the apples thoroughly under running water and dry them on a paper towel. We pierce them with a toothpick or fruit fork.
step 2 out of 6
Pour granulated sugar into a suitable container, fill it with water and put on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved. We send apples to the resulting syrup, turn off the heat and leave overnight so that they are soaked in syrup.
step 3 out of 6
The next day, bring everything to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, periodically removing the resulting foam. Turn off the heat and leave the jam overnight again.
step 4 out of 6
On the third day, return the apples in syrup to the fire, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
step 5 out of 6
We wash the jars thoroughly, scald with boiling water and pour apple jam in syrup into them.
step 6 out of 6
We close everything with lids, turn it upside down and leave it to cool completely. Store the finished jam in a cool dry place. We take it out in winter and serve it with hot tea. Bon Appetit!
