The jam according to this recipe turns out to be unimaginably similar in taste and aroma to fresh fruits. Cooking does not take much time, but the resulting blanks are stored in the cellar for up to five years.

To preserve whole slices, it is best to use durum apples. "Antonovka" and "Striped Autumn" are perfect.

Let's prepare the syrup: mix water with sugar and bring to a boil over low heat and turn it off immediately. At the same time, cut the apples into thin slices, about 0.3 cm each and take out the core along with all the seeds. The skin can also be removed if desired.

Next, pour the apples into the resulting syrup and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, no more than 5 minutes.
