Ranetka puree for children for the winter

Apple puree is one of the most popular children's delicacies, which can be easily and simply prepared at home, and if rolled up in jars, then stored for a long time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse the apples under running water and pat dry with a towel or paper towels. Examine for knocked-out barrels that have already begun to darken, and carefully cut them out with a knife, if necessary. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin and cut the pith core.
step 2 out of 5
Cut apples into small cubes, put in a saucepan, add water and sugar. Remove everything over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved, otherwise it may burn. Cook the apples for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces, until they are completely tender.
step 3 out of 5
In the meantime, you can sterilize the jars in which you will roll up the puree. To do this, fill a large saucepan with water and insert a suitable colander or steaming wire rack. Put jars and lids in it on top and put on no fire. Bring the water to a boil and keep the jars over it for 10-15 minutes. Then let them cool and dry.
step 4 out of 5
While the jars are cooling, remove the cooked apples from the heat and use a submersible blender to grind them until smooth, sometimes checking with a spoon to make sure that no large pieces have jammed into the corners of the pan.
step 5 out of 5
Divide the puree into the jars and close the lids tightly. Arrange the seams upside down on the linen towel and wrap with a blanket. Leave to cool completely, and then store in a dark and cool place.
Bon Appetit!
