Antonovka apple puree for children for the winter

Antonovka is a sweet and rich apple variety that is great for making baby puree. If desired, you can add cream, condensed milk or other fruits and vegetables to it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Dry the pre-washed apples with a towel or paper towels, peel and cut the core. Cut the pulp into small pieces or cubes, if necessary, get rid of the spoiled pieces. Place the chopped cubes in a saucepan.
step 2 out of 5
Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and add sugar. Stir gently so that the pieces are evenly covered with crystals, add water and put on medium heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, stirring the apples constantly to prevent the sugar from burning.
step 3 out of 5
Cook the fruits until they are completely softened, on average it takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces. When the apples are boiled to the desired consistency, remove the pan from the heat and chop the contents either with a blender until smooth, or rub through a sieve.
step 4 out of 5
In the meantime, sterilize the banks. To do this, put them in the oven, heat them together with the jars to 100 ̊С and hold them there for 15 minutes. Boil the lids in water for 2-3 minutes. Let the jars cool and dry before filling them.
step 5 out of 5
Divide the puree into the jars and close the lid tightly. It can be either screw caps or for turnkey seaming. Arrange the jars with their bottoms up on a bedcloth, wrap with a thick towel or blanket and leave to cool completely.
Bon Appetit!
