Stew of frozen vegetables with meat

A frozen vegetable stew is a great dish if you have frozen vegetables in the freezer and need to do something with them. Various vegetables are suitable for a vegetable stew. By combining them to your taste, you can get dishes with new flavors. Vegetable stew and meat are a very good combination; such a dish is not only satisfying, but also healthy.

The chicken fillet must be washed and cut into small pieces.

Then heat the vegetable oil in a suitable saucepan or skillet with high sides. After that, fry the chicken fillet on it until golden brown. Fill the fried meat with water and simmer over minimum heat for 15-20 minutes.

Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes.

In a separate container, combine chopped onions and all frozen vegetables - pumpkin, Brussels sprouts, zucchini, bell peppers, peas and corn.

Transfer the vegetable mixture to a container with stew, season with salt and ground pepper, stir and cook over moderate heat under a closed lid for about 20 minutes.

After 10 minutes, check the amount of liquid in the pan, add water if necessary. If the vegetables are half covered with water, then you do not need to add water.

At the end of cooking, add greens to the vegetables, stir and simmer for another 5-7 minutes under a closed lid. Greens can be used both fresh and frozen.
