Ranetki in syrup with tails for the winter

Apples harvested according to this recipe are transparent and very much resemble store marmalade, both in their appearance and taste. Surprise your family and friends with an unusual and original dessert!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Apples should be carefully sorted out beforehand and use only those fruits that do not have any external flaws, since we will harvest them entirely. We wash the selected fruits thoroughly (leave the tails) and pierce them with a skewer or a toothpick at the base.
step 2 out of 8
Let's start preparing the sugar filling: into a saucepan of a suitable size, pour in two glasses of filtered or boiled water and add the sweetener. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the crystals are completely dissolved.
step 3 out of 8
As soon as the syrup becomes transparent, add the lemon - the reaction will not be long in coming. The filling will begin to bubble and the syrup will become a little lighter, but continue cooking until the syrup becomes completely transparent.
step 4 out of 8
Put the apples in a boiling mixture and cook for 12-14 minutes.
step 5 out of 8
After that, immediately remove from the stove, a plate that is suitable in size, "drown" in sweet syrup, and set oppression on top (a three-liter jar filled with water is perfect). We leave the ranetki to soak for 10-12 hours.
step 6 out of 8
After a lapse of time, we return the fruits to the stove and again bring to a boil over low heat, and then set the load again and leave it to cool completely. This manipulation must be repeated at least 3 times.
step 7 out of 8
We put the finished apples in syrup on pre-sterilized jars, roll up and wrap them with a blanket. We leave the blanks in this form for a day and store them in a dark place.
step 8 out of 8
Dessert is ideal when served with hot tea. Bon Appetit!
