Pickle with pearl barley for the winter

You can cook a hearty soup very quickly at any time of the year, if you take the time to prepare fresh cucumbers and pearl barley and preserve it. Open the jar, transfer the contents to the meat broth - and the aromatic favorite soup is ready in 10 minutes.

Rinse the cucumbers from dirt and place them in cold water for 30 minutes. Then rinse the vegetables again and cut into small cubes.

Rinse the peeled onions and chop finely.

Rinse the tomatoes, pour boiling water over for a couple of minutes and remove the skin. Chop them very finely or grind them in a blender.

Rinse the cereals and dry a little. Put cereals and tomatoes in a saucepan with heated oil and simmer over low heat for 7 minutes after boiling. Add small onions, stir and after 5 minutes place carrots and cucumbers in a saucepan.

And when to add porridge: before or after everything? Is porridge cooked separately or during cooking?
